Kazan State Medical University (KSMU), the third oldest Medical University in Russia was found in the year 1814, after Moscow and St. Petersburg. With 200 years of experience in medical training, KSMU is justifiably an international University. About 2000 students from more than 48 countries around the world study here. KSMU has more than 6000 medical students, clinical residents and interns. It has 9 faculties with 58 departments and staff of more than 1500.
