ULYANOVSK STATE UNIVERSITY
Ulyanovsk State University was founded as a branch of Lomonosov Moscow State University in 1988. Since its foundation, the University has been developing rapidly in all areas of activity. With the support of the Moscow State University named after M.V. Lomonosov, a highly qualified faulty member of the university was formed, which included leading scientist from universities of Russia and CIS, which was a guarantee of a high level of training of graduating specialists. The University currently has more than 13,000 students, including more than 7,000 full-time students. There are more than 2,000 foreign students from 43 countries near and far abroad pursuing their higher education in Ulyanovsk State University. Today, more than 900 lecturers work at USU, including 123 doctors of sciences and 461 candidates of sciences. Among them are world-famous scientists, members of Russian and International academies of sciences, honored scientist of the Russian Federation. The University has more than 300 strategic partnership agreements with organizations, including state authorities of the Russian Federation, leading Russian and foreign enterprises and organizations. USU has a modern University complex established on more than 75 hectares of land, consisting of educational buildings, closed and open sports facilities, medial bases, administrative and service buildings, sanatorium and health facilities etc.
