The Tbilisi State Medical University (TSMU), is the leading Public Medical University of Georgia established in the year 1918. It is the main center of higher medical education in Georgia with a history of 100 years. Currently there are 5 faculties in the medical University: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Public Health, Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. On Nov.24, 1992 Tbilisi State Medical Institute was transformed in to Tbilisi State Medical University.
TSMU has been a member of the European Association of Medical Education (AMEE), the World Federation of Medical Education (WFME). TSMU cooperates with more than 120 Universities, University Clinics and centers from 30 countries worldwide. It is staffed with highly intelligent, highly qualifies teaching faculty and scientist.
