Georgia is a mountainous country holdings its position at the intersection of Eastern Europe and Western Asia, bound by Black Sea on the West, Russia to the North and Northeast, Turkey to Southwest, Armenia to the South and Azerbaijan to the Southeast. Tbilisi, the largest city of Georgia, is its capital. The European Union has identified Georgia as a prospective member and Georgia has sought membership. It is also currently working to become a full member of NATO.
